前首席牧師被控 拍兒童色情照

兩名德州男子，因製作兒童色情片（production of child pornography）遭指控，其中48歲的David Pettigrew，是當地一間教會的首席牧師（head pastor）。另一名男子，則是46歲的Chad Michael Rider。

國土安全局接到全美失蹤與受虐兒童中心(National Center for Missing and Exploited Children)舉報，開始對David Pettigrew展開調查，並找到許多兒童在私人住宅或非父母家被拍攝的照片。Pettigrew於8月6日被當局逮捕。

在Pettigrew 2020年5月寄出的電郵中，至少兩張女童全裸或暴露生殖器的照片。起訴書還指出，Pettigrew與Rider共謀，用僱傭、說服及脅迫等方式，要求兒童參與性相關的行為。

Pettigrew與Rider均不認罪（pleas not guilty），如果罪名成立，他們最多被判入獄30年。Pettigrew從2006年起，在Denison市的Nazarene教堂擔任牧師，直至東窗事發後才卸任。教堂方面則暫未回應Fox新聞的採訪請求。
