英圖書館推廣兒童閱讀 竟找人扮猴戴「假陽具」

英國東倫敦一間圖書館舉辦夏季閱讀活動，邀請一位穿著鮮豔猴子服裝、戴著假陽具的演員串場演出。活動照片日前放上社群平台後引起家長反彈，圖書館已致歉，並強調：「未來不會再發生。」

圖書館表示該活動外包給表演公司，但在預定活動時沒意識到其中一件動物服裝不合適。圖書館很抱歉冒犯了當地民眾，並會「全面徹查、採取嚴厲行動。」

泰晤士報專欄作家特納（Janice Turner）在社群平台指出：「我真的很想了解圖書館委託猴子宣導孩童閱讀的過程。」英國保守黨員哈邁德（Has Ahmed）也不解「以不雅服裝宣導閱讀」的用意。

一名家長認為：「有人要為這件事下台以示負責！」另一位家長則指整件事令人難以置信質問圖書館：「是否喪失了道德羅盤？」網友Sue Brown提到：「有關單位總是測試人們的界線。他們傳達了病態信息，難保下次不會再更過火。不接受任何道歉，應該要用巨額罰款或革職負責人員回應這類行為。」
